Thunderbird Games

Pack 164 participates in the Thunderbird Games each fall. The Thunderbird Games usually take place at Croton-Point Park. The day is filled with fun activities planned and hosted by Boy Scouts from area Troops. A campout is also an option for families who choose to stay overnight.
Pinewood Derby

The Pinewood Derby is one of the most popular and memorable events in Cub Scouting. Pack 164 holds its Pinewood Derby in March. The boys receive their kits at the February pack meeting and work with their parent to create a car to race. Boys are expected to do as much of the work as possible by themselves with adult guidance. The top 4 racers represent Pack 164 at the Council Pinewood Derby in April.
Blue + Gold Banquet

The Blue & Gold Banquet is Cub Scouting’s birthday party. Held each year in February, the Blue & Gold Banquet is a chance for Pack 164 to come together for an evening of food, family, and fun.
The Senior Webelos “graduate” at the Blue and Gold and boys who so choose, become Boy Scouts.

While there are no Den Meetings or Pack Meetings during the months of July and August, Pack 164 does not shut down. In addition to the camping activities mentioned above, Pack 164 runs several events during the summer. Last summer's activities included Renegades baseball and a trip to the Challenger Learning Center.
